
MINISTRIES
Acolytes
Acolytes are special ministers who make a major contribution to the Parish and the Archdiocese by assisting the Priest at Mass and other sacramental celebrations throughout the year.
Eucharistic Ministers
Special Ministers of the Eucharist assist the Priest to distribute Holy Communion at Mass and whenever their help is required. They also bring Holy Communion to the sick, housebound or nursing homes under the care of St Joseph's.
Lectors
Are involved in reading the Sacred Scriptures at Masses on a roster basis.
Altar Servers
Altar Servers assist the Priest in the celebration of Sunday Masses.
Young people from Year 4 and above are welcome to become Altar Servers.
Mass Wardens
Assist with preparing the Church for all liturgical celebrations and leading the collection of offerings during Masses.
Children's Liturgy
Parish News
Children's Liturgy takes place at 10:00am Mass each Sunday during school terms. Children aged 4-9 are encouraged to join together in the Marian Hall at the commencement of Mass.

written by Norm Windred is available for purchase from the Presbytery at a cost of $20. Please visit the office on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between 9am and 3pm if you would like to buy a copy. The book covers the work done by our priests and laity from the past until now.
Altar Society
These teams of volunteers attend to a variety of tasks on a roster basis each week.

Our local St Vincent de Paul Society conference is seeking new members to join them in their work of serving the disadvantaged and vulnerable members of our community.
